Lekaiban Counseling Services Adults 21 years of age and older Mental Health Counseling and Professional Coaching Services.


Mental Health specialties:  Chronic Illness, Coping Skills, Grief and Loss, Mood Disorders- Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Self Esteem, Stress Management, Veterans and Employee Assistance Program services.


Lekaiban LLC was founded November 2009 in Silver Spring, MD. The medical practice offers traditional individual therapy by a licensed mental health provider.

In Fall 2012 The Clinic and Medical practice moved to Laurel, Maryland

10.01.2021 Lekaiban LLC has moved to Virtual Services Only. Virtual Services offered in Alabama, Florida and Maryland.

05.01.2022 Lekaiban LLC changed mailing from Maryland to Florida mailing address.

Le Andrea Banks, LICSW, LCSW, LCSWC is the CEO and Founder of Lekaiban. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, family and group therapy. 

Effective 03.12.2020 in response to the COVID Pandemic

Her company offer Virtual Services in the form of counseling in services to adults working or residing in Alabama, Florida and Maryland. Lekaiban LLC also offers Virtual Coaching to adults worldwide.

Ms. Banks is a practical, interactive, cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

With over 29 years of professional services, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. As a seasoned health care professional, she has experience working with children, adults and their families. She has a motley of experience in the following settings: in children and adult inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics and residential facilities, veteran hospitals, hospice, nursing homes, private practice, teaching graduate students in social work and the US Army’s adaptive leadership program for officers.

She has a bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and master's degree in Social Work from Temple University.
